This was our first time and a birthday lunch date. We are certainly coming back!

If you are trying to pick where to eat, let this review serve as your deciding factor. Come experience this place. You will not regret it!

Such a warm and welcoming environment created by people who are passionate about the food they make and the experience they create for you.

The service stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had! We were asked if it was our first time and were brought samples by our excellent server, Winta.

The cinnamon ginger tea is a must!

Through and through a fantastic experience! High quality everything. Go here and eat!

I’ve been wanting to try Flavor 91 Bistro for a while now. So glad I took the opportunity to come. Such a nice place with even nicer people. I mean that’s my main thing…the people and the service was amazing. They really make you feel welcome and like you’re at home. Honestly the food could’ve been terrible (it wasn’t FYI) and I’d still come back. I got the wings which were delicious. I got them naked with sauces on the side. The Ethiopian BBQ sauce was very good and my favorite. They give you samples of a few different menu items which was really cool. Definitely coming back to try that mushroom soup (thanks to the sample). Overall, I’d highly recommend Flavor 91 Bistro!!

Flavor Bistro is an American restaurant with an Ethiopian twist, and our experience was fantastic! The fusion of flavors created a unique dining experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Since it was our first time, they let us sample several popular items on the menu. We really enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip, so we started with that and it was excellent. We enjoyed our dry rub chicken wings, they were a highlight of the evening. The wings were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The dry rub was a delightful blend of spices, featuring a subtle hint of some Ethiopian seasoning that added a wonderful kick without being overpowering.

We also shared a grilled chicken wrap. The wrap was generously filled with succulent grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, and a tangy sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The hint of Ethiopian spices in the marinade gave the chicken a rich, distinctive flavor that set it apart from typical grilled wraps.

The French fries were another standout. They were crispy (double fried?), golden, and seasoned to perfection. It was evident that great care was taken in preparing even this classic side dish.

Overall, the combination of American cuisine with Ethiopian influences made for an extraordinary meal. The creativity and attention to detail in each dish were evident, making it a memorable dining experience. We look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu.

I loved the food, there was a live band that we didn't know was playing when we went, which was a pleasant surprise! We had burgers, fries, and chicken wings. The atmosphere was great, comfy and laid back, and the drinks were fantastic!

This was my second time eating from the food truck of Flavor 91 Bistro and it was amazing. The first time was at The Columbus Book Festival last year and this year it was at the Ohio Black Expo. This food was delicious. I had a salmon burger and fried chicken.

I really enjoy the atmosphere. It's really dope, however I was expecting more people to be in there. I'm thinking this is just a little gem that a lot of people don't know about, but you guys should definitely check it out. The live band was awesome!

Took my mother and son here as I've heard good things. To oversimplify it, think about standard "Americana" food (burgers, wings, fries) with an Ethiopian flare. We had the Ethiopian dry rub, Ethiopian barbecue, and Axum wings, along with the fries. All were very flavorful, with varying degrees of heat. Mom had plain wings that she said were well flavored. My son had the Ace burger, which I tasted, and it had a good flavor as well. I gave a 4* because I thought the wings were on the small size, same with the burger. For the portions, pricing was a bit high, about $5 too high, per entrée. The service was top notch. Our initial server Winta (not sure on the spelling) is the main reason I gave an overall 5*. She was super friendly, she asked and remembered our names and was patient and informative about the menu. Would I go back? Yes I would. My one wish, is that they had meat filled sambusa! Oh, and the cinnamon ginger tea was amazing!
