Café CaVa

The place is okay, but nothing special. Food was boring, but not strictly bad. The service we had last time was really bad and the girl at our table made it very clear she wanted people to leave with her behavior. When I asked her what time they close (as it wasn't late, but they were obviously "cleaning up"), she literally rolled here eys and said in an hour. I hope that was just a ine off bad day, but I won't try that anytime soon again.

So, the place is quite fast paced for the waiters but it’s actually quite harmonious. FOOD: I only had a tomato soup but the others had more elaborate dishes. The tomato soup was really good, tasty and not overly salty or overwhelmingly creamy. I enjoyed. The schnitzel look and tasted delicious and not overly fatty. SERVICE: I found it really nice and efficient given how busy it gets but of course short of courteous and giving you a lot of time and attention but I actually am a person who doesn’t need that. Loved the ginger lemonade! ATMOSPHERE: I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it gets busy, but the volumen stays rather on the lower end and the whole place has a “candle light dinner” feel. Loved it.

We visited the restaurant without a reservation and it wasn’t a problem to find a table. We ordered small breakfast with italian bacon scrambled egg. Overall, I’d say the price/performance wise it is a pretty good restaurant as we only paid 20 euros in total. The food was fair as well. The only thing I noticed was how the tables were not cleaned for a long time after the customers pay and leave.

I went with friends and a baby for breakfast. This restaurant is family friendly, staff very nice and welcoming. Food was good but we needed to wait a bit long for it. The orange juice was fresh and delicious (I must say a goos juice is a rare thing to find here in Munich, a good amount and good quality) I can recommend

Really wonderful cafe, great atmosphere and delicious food. We got a weekly special, a chickpea pumpkin pan with falafel. The pita slices were deliciously crispy and the seasoning was spot on! The staff was friendly, service was prompt, gorgeous furniture - all around excellent experience. We'll be back for sure.

Atmosphere is great, excellent service (well above Munich standards), prices are reasonable and food is good, actually tastes "home cooked". I ordered the Ça Va teller with pulled pork and beans which was actually a big portion size. To top it up you can pay with cards.

Delicious!! Great service, nice atmosphere. I'll be back for sure. My second visit was on a Saturday. I was really impressed by the breakfast options. The American breakfast was really nice.

Great place to chillax with friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very friendly waitresses and great happy hour drink specials. I go there quite often since I live in the neighborhood.
